Use of the customer's personal battery (Classic+ subscription only)

  • With the customer battery (personal battery), any bike (normal or Ebike) can become an electric bike after inserting the battery into the bike.
  • To use the electric assist with your own customer battery, simply insert it into the battery compartment and make sure it is sufficiently charged. The customer battery button allows you to check the charge level with the indicator light.

During the ride

A red flashing of the lock accompanied by a long beep confirms that the process is complete. When the lock is properly closed, other users cannot access the rented bike.
  • Note : If you lock your bike outside of a Velospot station, your ride and related costs will continue.

Overtime credits
  • When you sign up for the service, a Velospot account is created. It allows you to view your rentals and purchase various products, including overtime credits. These allow annual subscription holders to extend the time they use the bikes beyond the free period of each ride.
  • If your credit balance goes into negative balance, your subscription is blocked until your balance returns to positive through the purchase of credits.
